If only it were as easy to do it as it was to type it, huh?!
I've talked a little bit about my fertility issues with you guys
(you can start with this post here)
but I try to keep it on the upside for the most part.
When I think about it though, my struggles with making a baby
is who I am and I want you to know me just a bit better.
So I won't do it lots, but I will be sharing just little bits here and there with you.
...and I hope you don't mind!
Today I wanted to get some feedback and even support on how
living a healthier lifestyle can improve your fertility chances.
I always like to start things on the 1st so Tuesday will be the start to a healthier Heather.
I've been slacking, because let's face it.. slacking is easy!
In all reality it's no secret that proper exercise and eating creates a healthy person,
and that a healthy person also has a higher chance of conceiving naturally.
I will be attempting a few different lifestyle changes to see which one I can:
a) stick with
b) still be happy while doing
c) integrate into my lifestyle easily (& get mr smith on board)
d) treat not only my pcos, but my skin issues and get me in shape
e) improves my mood & energy
I have had success with HCG & Atkins, but I'm not doing this to just get skinny.
So I'm not 'dieting' I am however changing what I eat and what I do.
I'm going to try a few other routes including the Paleo Plan, and cutting out all gluten.
If any of you suffer from pcos or infertility I would love to hear from you!
I know that starting something like this before the holidays is going to be a challenge,
but I'm sick of feeling this way.
Currently with all the great stuff in my life going on, I can't really enjoy it.
I feel unhealthy, depressed and envious of others. (mainly prego's)
I'm going to be 31 celebrating the 2yr anniversary of my 29th bday in 14 days
and in all reality if I don't fix these issues myself now, then I don't see them getting better.
I want to know that I did what I could to make myself the healthiest version of me
and that if I do get pregnant I know that it wasn't just because I took fertility drugs,
but that I helped in making myself better inside and out!
So operation 'get heather healthy with a goal to get a baby in the belly' commences now!
If the outcome isn't like the photo above... then at least I know I tried with all I had!!
