Hi, Im Aimee and I blog over at twigg studios, Im exicted to be here sharing a guest post today. I'm still new to the blogging world, am 24 yrs old and live in a part of the English Rivera called Torquay. I wanted to create a blog to share my passion for interior design, homemade crafts and all things vintage.
Today I'm sharing with you some leather earrings and hair clips that I recently made and I hope you are inspired to try them out for yourself!
Today I'm sharing with you some leather earrings and hair clips that I recently made and I hope you are inspired to try them out for yourself!
Supplies needed:
leather scraps
nail polish
super glue
scissors
earring posts / hair slides
First up paint those scrap pieces of leather with nail polish, I used several colours
and one gold foil effect nail polish, then
place aside to dry. If you get bored just polish your own nails since you have those colors out! Once it has completely dried, cut in to triangle shapes.
Next up arrange them in the order you would like and for the earrings you might want to make sure the triangles are symmetrical. Once you are happy with the layout, take the super glue and stick the leather scraps together.
And then simply glue them to the posts or slides and voila!
Those are cute! :) Hope you have a great day! xo Holly
