the post about babies

I've tried to write this post about a million times.  I type.  I delete.  I cry.  I suck it up and stop feeling sorry for myself.  Then I do it all over again.

I get pissed.  I get all sorts of emotional.  I then decide its not for me and thats why its not happening.  I usually cry again or enjoy the fact that at moments like this I can consume large amounts of wine by myself.

Babies.  I can't have them.  At least for 7 years of trying I haven't.  Sometimes I think that if I knew I could never have given my husband kids that I would have not fallen in love with him, I would have let him find a woman capable of doing what women are supposed to do.  I know thats silly.

I dont get envious or jealous of my friends or those I know that get pregnant, in fact I get so extremely happy for them. For reals....  But what I get upset about when I think of how much I want to have a family, be a mother, be pregnant- is the bad mothers, the babies with no families or how about the local girls here that are on their 4th kid with their 3rd baby daddy.  Yeah this post makes me say things like baby daddy.

Quite often I hear from my customers and readers that I'm always busy and they want to know how I juggle it all.  Well you should probably know that if I could trade all this, I would.  I stay busy to keep my mind off the fact that my ovaries hate me.  I stay busy (besides loving what I do) because obviously having no children provides me with loads of free time.  Truth be told I am sad.  And I know that people say 'it will happen if its meant to be' and I know we can adopt, but I think its ok to be sad once in a while.  I think its ok to feel like the one thing you want the most is the one thing you are a failure at achieving.

If you are a mom and it came easy to you, thats not your fault and you should never feel bad for that... just please realize how lucky you are to have those little ones! xo

getting a baby in my belly

If only it were as easy to do it as it was to type it, huh?!
I've talked a little bit about my fertility issues with you guys
(you can start with this post here)
but I try to keep it on the upside for the most part.
When I think about it though, my struggles with making a baby
is who I am and I want you to know me just a bit better.

So I won't do it lots, but I will be sharing just little bits here and there with you.
...and I hope you don't mind!

Today I wanted to get some feedback and even support on how
living a healthier lifestyle can improve your fertility chances.
I always like to start things on the 1st so Tuesday will be the start to a healthier Heather.

I've been slacking, because let's face it.. slacking is easy!
In all reality it's no secret that proper exercise and eating creates a healthy person,
and that a healthy person also has a higher chance of conceiving naturally.

I will be attempting a few different lifestyle changes to see which one I can:
a) stick with
b) still be happy while doing
c) integrate into my lifestyle easily (& get mr smith on board)
d) treat not only my pcos, but my skin issues and get me in shape
e) improves my mood & energy

I have had success with HCG & Atkins, but I'm not doing this to just get skinny.
So I'm not 'dieting' I am however changing what I eat and what I do.
I'm going to try a few other routes including the Paleo Plan, and cutting out all gluten.
If any of you suffer from pcos or infertility I would love to hear from you!

I know that starting something like this before the holidays is going to be a challenge,
but I'm sick of feeling this way.

Currently with all the great stuff in my life going on, I can't really enjoy it.
I feel unhealthy, depressed and envious of others. (mainly prego's)

I'm going to be 31 celebrating the 2yr anniversary of my 29th bday in 14 days
and in all reality if I don't fix these issues myself now,  then I don't see them getting better.
I want to know that I did what I could to make myself the healthiest version of me
and that if I do get pregnant I know that it wasn't just because I took fertility drugs,
but that I helped in making myself better inside and out!

So operation 'get heather healthy with a goal to get a baby in the belly' commences now!

If the outcome isn't like the photo above... then at least I know I tried with all I had!!
