Hi Loves, I hope you had a great weekend and are ready to kick Monday off with some pretty fingers! Today I'm showing a simple way to make a stencil using a paper punch and some sticker paper. This tutorial has endless design possibilities because you can choose a variety of stamps, placement of design, using either part of the sticker and using the sticker itself as a decal.
For the supplies you would like a stamp that is small enough for a design to show up on your nail. Border stamps would be great for a spin on french tips. The sticker paper I used was purchase in the scrap book section and is sold individually by sheets.
After gathering your supplies:
one- punch the design out with your stamp, have your sticker side facing you so the stamp can press through the paper side easier.
two- you are left with two options, i used the one that was left over after using the press so that I had a solid star in the color i wanted.
three- firmly press desired design on a clean dry nail, secure firmly to make sure the paint or polish you use doesn't bleed (you can use acrylic paint, nail polish, glue & glitter.. etc)
four- apply coats as desired (i used two), let dry.
five- after allowing to dry for a few, gently peel off sticker
six- apply top coat and rock it.
