Mani-Monday: pretty please

Today I want you to meet to a new polish company called Pretty Please. Based out of New York City and operating out of an office space in the Village this one employee powerhouse (Sara!) is taking over the blog today to not only introduce you to her company, but also offer up a little giveaway!

 

How did your nail polish brand come to be?

I was looking for an inexpensive and unique gift for my Mom and I decided on a personalized nail polish in her favorite color. When I went to order the polish online, I came to find that it didn’t exist! I couldn’t get the idea out of my head and after a lot of research and a leap of faith, I founded Pretty Please!

What is unique about Pretty Please?

Pretty Please is a nail polish brand that personalizes nail polish especially for you. You select a shade you love and give it your own unique name. This nail polish is all about you (your friends, your party, your company) and your vision. You can name your polish for a bachelorette party, birthday party, fund raiser, launch party, company event, and the list goes on! It’s the personal gifts that get remembered and treasured.

What can we expect from Pretty Please in the near future?

The website launched with 12 colors and you can expect the color options to keep growing. Longer term I would like the customer to be able to mix their own shade of nail polish online. It has never been done before and I would like Pretty Please to be the first company to offer this service. As I like to say, if I named a polish for myself, it would be called “Never Say Never”!

What is it like to be an indie polish company?

It’s fun! Pretty Please has had an overwhelmingly positive response. With so many nail polish brands popping up, it can feel difficult to narrow down the options but because Pretty Please is usually purchased as a gift or a favor, it’s a bit removed from the masses.
