{vintagewannabee} interview & giveaway

THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED
Congrats to Rachel from Shepards Daughter
(I will put you in contact with Nichelle)

Well it's about time I have the first giveaway of the year huh?
Today we have Nichelle from Vintage Wanna Bee hanging out, answering a few questions
and offering a little goodie (plus discount) at the end!

I first met Nichelle last year when I came across her blog through LittleMissMomma and we ended up sponsoring and doing giveaways on each others blogs. This month she is my large sponsor and with that comes a solo feature and Nichelle was awesome enough to do a little interview for me!

Tell my readers a little about yourself:
Hello friends, I'm Nichelle. I'm the Owner and Designer of Vintage Wanna Bee.

My favorite color is green... even though... I do love ALL things girly.
I'm 5'7, a redhead (yep, it's natural) and I adore my freckles.
I'm a 20 something year old college student studying Social Work to be a Grievance Counselor.

I love Disney Princesses, walks on the beach, Singing, Dancing, Lacrosse, Vintage,
Ice Cream, reading, silly friends, fluffy pillows, and creating and using my imagination.
I believe in "bee-ing" yourself, even if you're a little silly.

What do you love about what you do:
I love that I can have a place, that's all my own, where I can just be myself.
I love being creative and sharing my ideas with others. I honestly think blogging is such a unique experience, there's been some rough times, but I've also met some dear friends.

How do you stay inspired:
I think the most important thing is to have a balanced life, and to enjoy life.
I'm only 22, so I have a lot of life ahead of me, I'm just enjoying taking it all in and being inspired by everything around me. I love life, and just want to enjoy every minute of it that I can.

If you get in creative ruts what are some of the things you do to get out of them:
Get off the computer. I think, well, I know I compare myself to others.
It's hard not to, when I see all of these amazing ladies doing amazing things.
But then I remember that I have my own great life. I try not to worry about what I haven't done,
but focus on what I have.

What are some of your goals with your shop/blog for the year:
This year, I want to keep moving forward with Vintage Wanna Bee,
but I'm not worried about how many followers I get, or how much money I make.
I just want to do well at something I enjoy. I want my blog to truly represent who I am,
and to inspire and uplift people. I want to be the type of person that I would want to meet.
I'm just striving to become the best me.

What is some great advice you have received recently:
"Don't sweat the petty things, and don't pet the sweaty things."
Haha. I have awesome friends.
