just call me mrs!

Friday marked eight years that we began dating, and today is three years since we were married.. I'm not really sure where time went, but I'm glad I have spent it all with you!  Brandon you are my best friend and the only one that puts up with me and all my silly antics so well.  Our lives have changed a lot from the beginning, but we have grown together the whole time and I'm so happy we still remain on the same page about everything.  You have supported every decision I have ever made, which makes doing things so much easier.  I appreciate how you take care of me and allow me to find happiness in my own way.

Three years ago I had stayed the night at my parents house and when I woke up it was beautiful outside, I was nervous as could be and somehow convinced my brother to pretend he was you so I could practice my wedding vows!  Today I woke up to you in our new house with snow on the ground, a snoring dog and you made my coffee perfect for me just like you do every morning when you're home.  Life is good =)

I love that when we go out to eat you always give me the pickles off your plate, put the straw in my drink and watch me pick extras off all my food and put them into a pile.  I love that even though I hate cutting guys hair, you let me cut yours knowing it might have to get shaved all off if I mess up.  I love that when we watch scary movies you get my sunflower seeds so I can keep myself busy and not get nervous.  I love that you have painted my toenails for me, always check the back of my hair to make sure there are no 'holes' and still tell me I'm cute when wearing frumpy pjs.  You take me for who I am and just like I told you in our vows.. you are the peanut butter to my jelly!

I love you with all my heart and I'm so happy to take your generic last name Mr. Smith! =)
